Showcase 1

Year 7

Year 7 have chosen to do a ‘Tree of Positivity’ for this year’s Christmas tree theme. In what has been a very difficult and challenging year for all us, Y7 have chosen to display photos and drawings of someone or something which they have missed during the lockdowns. The tree provides a visual image of hope, where we can look forward to seeing all our friends and family again, whilst doing the things we love most.

Merry Christmas from Y7!

Showcase 2

Year 8

Christmas is celebrated around the globe, by people of all different races! From Dadabe Noley in Madagascar, to Shen Dan Lao Ren in China, to our own Father Christmas! All of these differences should be celebrated!
Everyone should get to enjoy festive spirit EQUALLY!

Showcase 1

Year 9

Y9 wanted to send some positivity to four local charities after what has been a difficult year. We designed and wrote postcards to either Myton Hospice, Zoë’s Place, The Trussell Trust and Emmaus sending well-wishes and messages of hope for 2021. We also filled clear baubles with positive messages and sayings. These, along with the postcards, will be sent to the charities to distribute to staff and those that benefit from these charities.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Y9.

Showcase 2

Year 10

Year 10 students have written messages to people who may be alone at Christmas, to let them know students are thinking of them.

Students in Year 10 are also donating items for the school food bank collection.

Year 11 – ‘Our Stars’

Breaking up for Christmas 2020 could be the last for some of our Caludon students that decide to venture to new pastures. But every one of our students need to break up- holding their heads up high, knowing they’ve come through one of the toughest years and should be proud of their resilience and determination shown.

This Christmas tree is dedicated to our Year 11 students, they’ll find themselves on the tree in a special tutor bauble accompanied with inspirational and motivational quotes from teachers across the school to just remind them, when they come back-it’s a fresh start and all they need to do is believe in themselves as much as we believe in them!
