On Wednesday 10th July 2019, the MFL student ambassadors visited the Herbert Art Gallery for a guided tour. We learnt about various pieces of art and artefacts that were from around the world, such as a Belgian war helmet, Italian and German paintings and an African chair made from weapons! It was really interesting to hear about other cultures and other historical events, and our students were really engaged.
Then, we went to Las Iguanas for a tremendous tapas tasting. Most students had never tried tapas before, with some having not even heard of certain foods, so it was a great opportunity to try something new and exciting. The food was delicious and our ambassadors returned to school very full, and with a much greater appreciation of other cultures!
