Caludon Castle is a school which strives to ensure all students fulfil their academic potential. However, life at Caludon is much more than striving for exam success. We work in partnership with students and parents/carers to ensure that students become good citizens, work effectively with others, develop a social responsibility and celebrate cultural diversity. We aim to foster emotional resilience and to develop future leaders.

In order to achieve these goals we support students in a number of ways. These include the use of non-teaching Year Leaders and student support mentors, a Student Welfare and Outreach worker, school counsellors and access to a range of external support agents. The school has recently achieved Bronze status for the UNICEF Rights respecting school award and are on track to achieve Silver by the end of this academic year. The school also has several Anti-bullying ambassadors trained through the Diana award with the students working towards their online safety badge and proactively supporting the students in the Caludon community.
