Charity

Caludon Castle School is passionate about supporting and advocating for others, enabling our community to make a difference for other communities.

Each of the three Caludon Houses has adopted a local charity, and works closely with that charity throughout the year, so that each student can develop an understanding of the difference they can make. The charities were voted for by the original members of each House. As well as running events to raise money for their adopted charity, students are able to get more closely involved.

Devonish House supports Spencer’s Retreat Farm.

Maddison House supports Young Minds Matter

Smith House supports the Lily Mae Foundation

All year 9 students work with their charity for a full day in June to ‘Make A Difference’.

Wow! What a fabulous productive day! So proud of our students – there was engagement, passion and productively- all day! I love the displays made. There’s QR codes, posters, larger displays, 3D displays…

Every year Caludon also supports a number of other charities, nominated and chosen by the student body. Each year we raise several thousand pounds through events, concerts and non-uniform days. We strive to beat our previous total year on year!

If you would like to nominate a charity for the school to support please email enquiries@caludoncastle.co.uk stating the name of the charity and why you would like it supported by our students. Please send the email for the attention of Ms Hutchinson.
