Caludon Castle School is passionate about supporting those less fortunate than ourselves.
Every year Caludon supports numerous charities all nominated and chosen by the student council and voted upon by all students. Last year we raised over £5000 through events, concerts and non-uniform days. We strive to beat this total year on year!
This year (Autumn 2017) students are currently deciding which charities to support. If you would like to nominate a charity for the school to support please email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the name of the charity and why you would like it supported by our students. Please send the email for the attention of Mr Stokes.
Every year 6th form music students, as part of their Btec Level 3 music qualification, must compose, record, market, promote and release a single for charity. This has been very successful over the last 5 years raising thousands for charities such as the NSPCC, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the Make a Wish Foundation.
This year the students have chosen Coventry Haven to support. This is a small charity based locally helping victims of domestic abuse. Look out for the single to be released on iTunes and a CD for sale at reception from March 2018!
