PRESS RELEASE: “We are extremely proud” – Mrs Marr

We are extremely proud of the success of our students, especially because they are the first to face the challenges of the new linear system. Over 287 A level qualifications were taken by 129 students. 100% of these students achieved A*-E in all of their subjects. Of those qualifications 50% of the grades are A*to B and 80% are A* to C.

Currently, well over 100 students have a place at university and several students are going on to higher apprenticeships.

Particularly outstanding results were achieved by Sophie Johnson who gained A* grades in Sociology and Maths and an A in Geography; Angela Vasiliou gained grade As in Psychology and Philosophy and an A* in Sociology; Henna Siddiqui also achieved grade As in Biology, Art and Chemistry.

Jenna Adkins and Hari Bachu will be reading medicine at Birmingham and Cardiff respectively. Both achieved a fantastic set of results with grade A* in Biology and As in Maths and Chemistry grade A for Hari, and B for Jenna.

We are very proud of the hard work and dedication of all our students, many of whom are leaving to study a wide range of higher education courses including Adult Nursing, Pharmacy, Economics, Sport and Exercise, Geography, Maths, Psychology, Journalism, Mechanical engineering, Law, Biology and many more. They are a credit to themselves and Caludon Castle Sixth form.
