NEWS: Team Caludon strikes Gold!

We are delighted with the excellent results of our Sixth Form this year, our best results to date.  In true GB Olympic spirit, our students showed real resilience and determination.  100% of our leavers gained A*-E in A Levels and Level 3 BTEC courses.  A record 54.3% achieved A*-B grades, demonstrating true aspiration.   These results reflect the fact that the care and guidance they are offered is excellent, as recognised by both our students and Ofsted.  The latter also mentioned that students are well prepared for the next stage in their lives and we are very proud of all our students as they progress to a wide range of courses at university or apprenticeship.

Notable successes include Hannah Rose who achieved A* in Biology and Maths and an A in Chemistry.  She is going to study to be a vet at Bristol University.

Bryony Holmes achieved an A* in Psychology, 3 A grades in Geography, English and Biology and is going to study Clinical Psychology at Exeter University.

Daniel Kingswell achieved A* in Maths and A grades in further Maths and Physics.  Daniel also gained a merit in the Advanced Extension Award demonstrating his prowess in Mathematics, which he is going to study at Exeter University.

Two notable apprenticeships have been secured by Eneo Selimi at Jaguar Land Rover and Kara Gaggini at Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Sixth form team would like to congratulate all the students on their hard work and achievements. We wish them every success and happiness in the future.
